Reports Suggest NVIDIA GB300 Server Production Has Started, Mass Shipments Begin in September

SysPartsDirect | July 19 – According to a blog post by source Digitime on July 18, Nvidia partners including Dell have initiated production of GB300-based servers, though mass shipments are expected to commence only by September 2025.

To accelerate the transition, Nvidia will retain the motherboard design used in the current GB200 platform while granting partners greater flexibility to adopt a modular approach for GB300 server production.

Unlike the GB200’s fully assembled "Bianca" motherboard – which integrated B200 GPUs, Grace CPUs, 512GB LPDDR5X memory, and power components – Nvidia now provides:

  • B300 GPU SXM Puck modules
  • Discrete BGA-packaged Grace CPUs
  • Axiado’s Hardware Management Controllers (HMC)

Partners will independently source remaining motherboard components, with CPU memory utilizing standard SOCAMM modules available from multiple suppliers.

GB300 units are currently in the validation and early production phase. ODM manufacturers report no major obstacles, with component certification progressing on schedule. Nvidia is projected to steadily ramp up production in Q3 2025.
